Dogs think that we are their masters but cats think that we are cats too. 

By the way, cats can feel our sadness. One day I was really upset, because I quarreled with my husband and my cat came to me and lied on my breast and began purring very loud trying to calm me down.

Hi, Emily! Thanks for starting such an interesting discussion:) I've got a neutered tomcat called Erik and my opinon is that both dogs and cats can keep good company as long as you love them.   

I think cats become indecent sometimes. They remain your friend provided that you fulfill their needs.

But it is said that dogs show more loyalty to human.
