To bring someone on a vacation or for a vacatiom

Which is correct? 'To bring my friends on a vacation' or 'to bring my friends for a vacation'?

Both are correct however *on vacation* is much more commonly used - Hope that helps!

Thanks Ryan. Or do you have a better way of saying it?
