I've heard of it and have friends who have been to India and experienced Holi first hand. They loved it. Perhaps some day I'd be able to say the same too :)

The only reason I have heard about it was it was a cultural reference in a movie ("Outsourced") I watched.  The movie was a cross cultural romantic comedy.  I really enjoyed it and thought it was cute.  The holiday looks fun.  I loved seeing all the colors.  A couple years back my mother in law and her sister traveled to India, but I don't think they were there around the right time to see it.  I imagine if I ever had a chance to get over to India, I would love to see that as well as try authentic Indian food.  (I don't know how authentic the cuisine I've had over here is, but there are some really good American Indian restaurants near where I live.  One of them often plays Bollywood music videos during their lunch buffet which is a real treat because the music and costumes are beautiful, the choreography is amazing, and it is a fun backdrop for the food.)  :)

I've read sth about it just once but I really forgot to do some research about it. It called my attention  because it said something of colours. Am I wrong?
