<em>"أن"</em> When it comes before a verb in Arabic is close to <em>"to"</em> in English (For example, in Literary Arabic the sentence "I want <em>to write</em> a book" is translated as: urīdu <em>an aktuba</em> kitāban (lit. "I want <em>that I write</em> a book")). So it's safe to call it like a "<em>full infinitive or to-infinitive</em>"

If you wanna get rid of "أن", all you have to do is to replace it and the verb that comes after it with the <em>"bare infinitive" </em>so the above sentence can be translated as: urīdu <em>kitābata</em> kitābin (lit. "I want <em>the writing</em> of a book").

And here are some examples:

أريد أن أكتب = أريد الكتابة

أريد أن أقرأ = أريد القراءة

أحب أن أتعلم = أحب التعلم

يريدون أن يذهبوا = يريدون الذهاب

أن يكتب = الكتابة

أن يقرأ = القراءة

أن يلعب = اللعب

أن يتكلم = التكلم

we can by transforming the verb into a non

اريد التكلم معك ! By adding ال to the verb and remove ان 

أن+الفعل=مصدر الفعل.......أن أتكلم=التكلم ........أريد أن أتكلم معك=أريد التكلم معك
