Start to learn chinese

Hi everybody!

 

I would love to start learning chinese (Mandarin), but I don't realy have an idea where to start. If somebody could recommed a good website or book for beginners I would be very gratefull!

To be honest - unless you have a class or tutor locally, you will find it very difficult. Learning any language is hard and you nust have clear goals and lots of motivation. italki is great but useful more for supplementing learning.

Hi Alexander, i have been studying for years, the best set of books i have found are martin symonds chinese made easier, you can learn well on your own, then try chineseclass101.com to learn listening, good luck and happy speaking
