Be careful of your words. Deference = submission. You mean "What is the <em>difference</em> between...?"

When you write something down, you put something in writing. This could be an idea, a story in your mind, what someone is saying, or even copying another text for your own use.

"Write about" is not a phrasal verb. "About" comes before the topic of your text.
