Korean Vocab Lists

I've recently started learning Korean (hence why I am on this site now :P) and have been focusing on grammar and how to structure sentences. But of course, to be able to use this knowledge and make sentences I actually need to know some words. This led to me looking up some vocab lists, and I quickly realised that often, these lists are not all that relevant to beginners.

So I was thinking here could be a good place to share any good lists people have found, or even ones you have made yourself, and discuss which words are vital for a beginners vocabulary.

(apologies if a thread like this has already been made. I had a quick look through but did not see one)

Kind of plain, but has them in order of how common they are...

I agree with Tiletha! If you go on memrise.com and search up Korean, people create their own lists of vocabulary words. There's one person who even uploaded the vocabulary words of the textbook I used for a beginning Korean class. :) It's the integrated Korean series.

I recommend Daum ( dic.daum.net ) and Naver ( endic.naver.com ) for looking up any word you would need. The former being simpler if you can differentiate adjective forms and break them into dictionary form prime for conjugations and the latter being better if you can't.

There are a few nice decks in Anki ( ankisrs.net ) for Korean vocab, and a few nice decks for Memrise aswell ( memrise.com ).

Have fun, Korean is a really fun language to learn!
