http://learner.org/series/destinos/ is the link for Destinos, a great FREE online Spanish learning series with video episodes along with practice sheets and things like that. This is a great way to begin, or even polish up your listening skills if you're at the intermediate level without having to listen to news with vocabulary that's way beyond your level. This series is focused towards native English speakers, but I'm sure anybody with a decent English level will be able to utilize this great resource. The nice thing is that the plot(yes there is a pretty interesting plot) shifts to various Spanish speaking countries so you get to listen to accents from different countries.
