I tihnk it should gear yoward your oal in learning that language.
E.g. if you want to be good at conversational level then you should prob pay more attention on the frequently used vocabs and daily phrases!

but I think, we talk about HOW learning English (or different lang.) not WHY do we learn it.
If you here, it's mean that you've made your choice and know why you do it.

I think, you should have a big passion or goal for learn English. If you learn English "just for yourself" study process was very painful for you.
Well, first of all, you should have a PASSION.
My goal in English - it's work with international clients and professionals.
