http://www.onlinetvrecorder.com has 60+ German TV channels for free. You need to program a recording and then can download it a few hours later. Works great. I use it to get my dose of Tatort.
Thanks for the websites, I also use ARTE's website and the DW TV for documentaries or programmes, because I'm honestly not that much of a fan when it comes to German series, but I find German programmes to be very informative and thought-provoking.
