What is the meaning of these words in your native language ? hey / my name is / bye
there are a lot of people from different countries and different languages, so i like to write three words in english, and every one writes the meaning in his/her native language
the three words in english : hey / my name is / bye
in egyptian/arabic : hey=assalamu alaikum/my name is = esmy / bye = slam

sveiks, sveika, sveiki / mans vārds ir / atā
We've taken the Italian word "ciao". We use "čau" more often than sveiki, tho.
