Do you have any tips for studying English abroad?

I never thought of China as an option for learning English. Yes, maybe some locations can be a good place to practice a kind of international English that is not any ONE particular kind of English... ideally a place that is a crossroad of cultures, where people are used to having to speak English to the many foreigners around in that place. I wonder which place best qualifies? I'm only guessing perhaps somewhere in the Middle East...?

Suggestions from others?

Perhaps China can be one of your options.

I've been told that it is easy for Brazilians to go to Ireland to study English. I have met many Brazilians that  currently study English there.

I'm Brazilian and I'm thinking about studying English in another country. What country do you recommend? Do you know any programs? Work and study, for example? How long should I stay?

Thank you!
