I have been watching "French In Action", a series created in the 1980s. Each episode is 25 minutes or so, and it follows a little pattern. There is a romantic story that plays out in each episode, plus a little lecture by Pierre Capretz, the creator. It's all in French.

Beyond that, I am a beginner. So I watch children's cartoons in French. Google "Peppa Pig en Francais", or "Didou Dessine-moi" to get you started. Those are about my level. Eventually I hope to move up to Babar.

Of TV series I can suggest Extra created for French learners. It's available on youtube as far as I remember. Just type "Extra French".
