Hi there, anyone can suggest me where/how to start learning thai language?
I'm a little confuse here. I can only speak a little thai but it is very basic such as Thank you, How are you, good night, etc.
Please let me know some references or if you know a better way to learn.
Also feel free to contact me if I can help you with languages that I can.
You might be able to find a teacher on this website, and/or google White Guy Brett. His online language program is based on teaching people to read the Thai alphabet and words since their way of pronunciation is not paralleled in English, but highly dependent on tone pitches. The letters and their locations in the words, plus accent marks, show readers exactly how to pronounce and pitch any given word.
You can check thaipod101 out. My Dutch boyfriend who is learning Thai is using that site.
