For the Italian students who don;t know what /cincischiare/ means:

a. it is an interesting verb, expressing a particular way of wasting time and efforts

at the same time, therefore its meaning is to avoid.

Suppose you have a task to do (a MUST), let's say task T and you are afrid of it or don't want to do it for

any reason, than you collect in your mind whatever is also urgent, or interesting or vaguely reminiscent of

true work, and you just lie to yourself: tasks A and B and C ... and P need also to be done, so there is no harm

in putting T at the end of this little queue. But you know something is just WRONG, so while doing task A,

you switch to task C, then to B, and to A again, and so on, at the end NOTHING gets done, yiu are not amused,

but you might also be out of energies.

This is the act of /cincischiare/ (in its more severe meaning).

Dimentico spesso di spegnere la luce quando non c'è nessuno nella stanza. Forse, è tutta colpa della nota distrazione dell'Acquario… :)
