In January I am going with some friends to Istanbul for a few days. I will be flying into the airport on the 8th. They are coming with a bus from the Balkans to the Emniyet Garajı bus station on the 9th and I want to meet them there. What is the best way to the bus station from Sultanahmet square? We are staying at the Sultan hostel nearby. It is a 30 minute walk but I would prefer to take public transportation. Thanks!

Hi Natalie my name is Murat I am from Turkey and I live in istanbul.emniyet bus station is very close to sultanahmet.you can go there by tramvay.it will takes only 10 minutes by tramway.if you are crowded people you can go by yellow taxi.almost 5 usd .by the way sorry for my english.I hope you can understand me:))if you ask me something about istanbul.I can answer you

Take the taxi.In Istanbul is taxi very cheap. You can ask the driver the price, before you leave.
