What are the activities that you do during these holidays in your country? What do you usually do on Christmas/New Year's day?and Christmas/New Year eve?

In Paraguay, people visit you "to wish you a Merry Christmas" in your house until a specific time and you have to invite them your food or drinks. 

In the New Year Eve. We usually travel near a beach in different places every year because here we have summer in December and we enjoy sharing time with new friends (that you meet over there). I've met a lot of people during the New Year Eve and now we're good friends or we just make a family meeting. However, other people do big meetings in their houses.
