Fluent English

I used to be "zero" is English.
I didn't even knew the ablative absolute of English language. I had no communication skills and I could barely merge words to create a sentence.
But then what I started reading English newspapers and articles, even though I was not able to understand whats written in it but I didn't give up. I took help from google dictionary to understand meanings of words. This gave me courage to learn English.

I used to stand in front of mirror and talk to myself in English.. I practiced as much as I could and this boosted my skills of speaking English.

And today, my university awarded me with the medal of perfect communication skills in English language.

Practice makes a man perfect.. I'm glad to see people here striving to learn new languages :)

Does anyone else here have some interesting personal experience to share ?
