It is "resolution" not "revolution". The verb is "to resolve". For 2015 I have resolved to get fit. I could also say my NY's resolution is to get fit.  If I do get fit, it will be a "revolution"!

I heard the news said something about "New Year's Re_olution". I thought it was revolution. Haha, now I knew it! It should be resolution! Thank you~
