Need to live in the camp.

No freedom in the camp - you have to take order. No choice.

Only 45 days of vacations + few more days.

Need to do something you don't want to do for 2 years.

Get beaten by colleauges higher than myself for no reasons/reasonable reasons - there are many who suicide during the service.

The culture in the military camp now gets better though. It used to be like the story from the movie. If you ask your korean friends, they would feel empathy with the movie because it happens unfortunately.

There was 2 "BIG" recent cases related to the army service because of the stressful settings.

However, there are positive things as well if you are "lucky".

in my case, I could meet good people, so I've kept in touch with some of them. last year I went to my superior's wedding ceremony.

but I don't want to go again hh.

Military service is compulsory in our country.Is a patriotic act.

A job that earns $100 per month. 

It sucks. haha
