On a more serious note, in regards to the Cyrillic alphabet, I would find a text and a accompanying audio file/video, then listen and read. Choose something that is interesting. In 2010, I worked with a complex text (an interview of then Russian President Dmitry Medvedev) and a simple text (from LingQ). This can be a good balance of "hard and easy". Through listening and reading simultaneously, I began to connect the letters to sounds. Certainly, this is only one of the million approaches out there, so if you know something better for yourself, go for it.

Once you feel comfortable with the alphabet and are more or less used to the sounds, I would read a little bit about the two aspects and cases from a grammar book or website. Expand to music and podcasts. Read a new story in Turkish or English, then try reading about it in Russian.

Those are my thoughts for now. Good luck with Russian! I am positive you will have a fun and enjoyable experience acquainting yourself with the Russian language and culture!

Listen to Pelageya and become touched emotionally in your soul. However, I would also listen to something easier to balance the process (Boris Grebschenikov, for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0y-yLcdp3s).

And for the icing on the cake, listen to some traditional Russian music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3scgW-aghr4
