In the end, the puzzle requires that one accept that 4 pills are "identical" in all properties but color...

A thinking man would realize the premise of the question is that the 4 pills have the same outward characteristics other than color.  The idea being that a blind man cannot tell one pill from the other using any of his senses.

Previously you asked this question... "If it takes 3 people 4 hours to clean a warehouse, how long will it take 4 people to clean the warehouse?"  Using your argumentative style I guess the correct responses would be as follows:

- are the 4 people equally capable as the 3 people?

- are all people on the team working concurrently or do they take turns working?

- how do you determine that the warehouse is "clean"

- isn't clean a subjective measure thus making any answer impossible?

- you refer to "a warehouse" for the 3 people and "the warehouse" for the 4, are we guaranteed that the two warehouses are indeed the same?

- the question is too vague, there can be no correct answer

- who has determined that the warehouse is dirty and requires cleaning?

Putting the pills under the sun light, the red ones will assimilate more heat than the white ones.
