dinning etiquette is a part of food culture which is also component of culture of one country. would u like to share what dinning etiquette do u have?
Here are a few rules I practice in America. There are many Americans that do not follow these rules.
Do not speak while chewing your food
Do not reach over another person's plate
Wait until everyone has food in front of them before you begin to eat
Do not place elbows on table

Perhaps at a formal dinner,the most inportant table manners in China are the followings:
1. Seats order
2.When u toast to others, ur glass cant be higher than the one whom u toast to.
Actually i dont like people smoking when having dinner
Germany is similar to Jess. Added: no smoking while others are still eating.
In China it's no problem to:
Eat with open mouth
Talk with food in mouth
Burp
Smoke while others eat
Spit food on the table
Use the table cloth as wrighting pad
