First happy new year!
Well, i agree that ending the year and his presidential mandate the way he did, was the best event in years.
I think that he deserved that humiliation 'cos he spent so many years nurturing seeds of hatred and mutual mistrust between Arabs, Muslims from the one side and the Occidental world from the other. Although a lot of people know exactly that he is a manipulative person and that the last thing he cares/cared about was/is democracy for the Arab world or Peace of mind for his fellow citizens, some Did believe him and were misled to think in a negative way. Anyway, he had what he deserevd...I am so happy it happened...that is so fair! "Qui seme le vent recolte le tempo"..
And the lesson was: It turned out that the Iraqis have no chemical weapons but they have a more dreadful weapon: their shoes...
