I just wish that chinese characters in other places around the world like singapore or peoples republic of china would use a writing system like japanese people do. Therefore most characters are traditional chinese and some like for country are simplified.

It's truly Chinese characters is hard to remember to who aren't native speaker. I'm not sure you said "
writing system like japanese people do" meaning. Chinese got basic way to pronuce it but write it. So the only way to recongn characters is recite. Also, there are some difference between simplfied Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
At last, for Taiwanese, country is 國(guo), not 国,it's kanji or simplfied one.
