Anyone could help me with the translation of this russian proverb:
"The fall of a leaf is a whisper to the living". I'm wondering how to say the russian verion of it...
спасибо!
I agree with Max and moreover for many English speakers I talked to the meaning of this proverb is unclear. So if they had explained me the meaning of it I would have tried to find russian version, but they hadn't.
It's beautiful but it is not a Russian proverb.
I've never heard of it and cannot imagine how it could sound in Russian.
When I googled it in English, sure enough it says a Russian proverb.
But googling in Russian any combination of translation of these words + proverb gives no hits, zero.
Падение листа-это шепот жизни
of all the proverbs is the most suitable
Жизнь прожить не поле перейти
Thanks everyone for your help, Is really useful to find out is not a russian proverb. In regards to the meaning, I think that the fact that the dead leave of a tree dies and falls reminds us, the living ones, that one day this will happen to us as well, but this only my interpretation. спасибо!
