Today I learned some German Idioms and Expressions. Can you give me more examples, which idioms do you use more in your daily conversation (and what they mean)??

"Eine Hand wäscht die andere"
"Das ist Schnee von Gestern"
"Es schüttet wie aus Eimern"
"Lachen ist die beste Medizin"
"Ich drücke dir die Daumen" / "Daumen drücken"
Wer A sagt, muss auch B sagen.

Wer zuerst kommt, mahlt zuerst. (The first one gets it)
Morgenstund hat Gold im Mund. (Morning is the best time.)
Reden ist Silber. Schweigen ist Gold. (to be silent is better than to speak.)
Der Apfel fällt nicht weit vom Stamm. (The son isn't much more different than the dad.)
Wer andern eine Grube gräbt, fällt selbst hinein. (If you are cheating with someone, you will be cheated.)
Da ist schon längst Gras darüber gewachsen. (It's long ago and it doesn't matter anymore.)
Abwarten und Tee trinken. (Just wait and have a good time!)
Andre Mütter haben auch schöne Töchter. (If somebodys heart is broken by a girl, you can comfort him with that.)
Erst die Arbeit, dann das Vergnügen. (You should first do what you have to do and than you can grant yourself with something you like to do/to eat etc.)
Freiheit ist gut, aber kontroller ist besser.
Keine Arme, keine Kekse :D (if your to short, you can not reach sth.)
I mostly use the phrase: Ich drück dir die Daumen (I'll cross my fingers for you)
Most of the phrases my mother said to me... Typically anoying phrase: Solange du deine Beine unter meinem Tisch hast.... (As long as you have your feet under my table...) Meaning: I make the rules here! :D
