Hi shang,

I had same experienced at the first time when I started to learning English.

The important is you should motivate your self to learn.

Start with the basic, such as memorize 10-15 vocab everyday.

Watching movies in English ( listening + subtitle).

Reading news paper or listening to the music.

 Shang:

English that you can memorize,  such as a song,  or a nursery rhyme or a poem or even a famous speech,  can be of great benefit to you.

I recommend that you  use a recording for a movie,  and especially a movie "musical".

If you print out the lyrics to the songs, and practice learning these,  it will complete your knowledge of the ideas and characters involved in the story.    Gradually,  you can learn all of the words in the movie this way.   Here is a list of some movies I often recommend for students this way:

"Oliver!" 1968 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0063385/

"My Fair Lady!" 1964 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0058385/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

1776 (produced in 1972) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0068156/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

"The Sound of Music" 1965 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0059742/

" How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" (1967) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061791/

These will help strengthen your vocabulary, and you will also   have practice when you cannot find a person to practice English with.   It certainly will give you something  pleasant to talk about  when you   do engage another in conversation.
