What is the most notable logo?

In my opinion, the Apple logo is the most notable logo. Because of the apple bite many people are going bananas with it. How about you?

How about McDonald's golden arches, or maybe the JolliBee bee in the Philippines. Actually, I ate at the Jollibee in Tagaytay and it was better than McDonalds.

Gio, the thing with nazi logo is that it was gaining huge popularity in decades before nazis (early 20 century). I much recommend to read an article in Egnlish wiki.

I was going to became second popular symbol with unspecific meaning of 'bringing luck' (and some specific once as well) - much like the "star". Then in 1921 Hitler took it... and here we are: nazi have an impressive symbol of their own:-/

I personally think the specific color of yellow that Kodak chose was amazingly recognizable, and both the logo they adopted in 1960 and the one they adopted in 1971 are great:

I always preferred the original Apple seven-color logo:

I think the cost of printing in full color was annoying to Apple, and that the main reason for the change was economy. The current one has a certain austere beauty to it, but it's like eating frozen yogurt when what you want is a banana split.
