A little Vietnamese for today!!!

The Vietnamese language is a little more complicated than you think. In English, we have only '' I '' for the speaker and '' you '' for the people we want to address to. But in Vietnam, only '' I and You '' are challenging enough for you to work out:

- '' I '' will mean ''Anh '' if you are older than the people you want to address to and you are a man.

- '' I '' will mean ''Chị '' if you are older than the people you want to address to and you are a woman.

- '' I '' will mean ''Em '' if you are yonger than the people you want to address to ( not important you are man or woman )

For '' You '' , it will be the same to '' I '' . The only difference is that '' I '' = Tôi for formal way and '' You '' = '' Bạn '' for formal way.

What is the reason for this difference? That is the respectful and traditional culture of Vietnam. You can study and explore a very various culture when you learn Vietnamese!!!
