I'm from Brazil and I lived six months in Califórnia.

I do think that US is the land of opportunity due to the fact that the goverment and law are in favor of companies. Totally diferent from Brazil at least. In Silicon Valley there are lots of inverstor looking for companies to invest their moneys.

In addition, US has the largest and powerst economy. Pretty much all world want to make business with US. So it's much likely has a proftable company there than many other places around the world.
