For my “contact America” project I found an 18 year old Saint Joseph student called Alyssa. She told me that she was born in Long Island NY but that she has being living in Philadelphia since she is was 16. She has a major in history because she wants to be a high school teacher when she grows up, she also told me that she is paying a part of her studies thanks to her camp counselor job she has during summer. I asked her a couple questions about what’s her opinion of American people and she told me that they are very patriotic , she also mentioned the example of the 4th of July to really show me how proud Americans are. Finally I asked her the famous question “What would you do if you had a million dollars and why?” and she told me that she would probably go to a trip to Bora Bora because she thinks that the water is pretty.
