i am finding very useful to watch movies with english subtitles.

Read novels is very tiring 'cause there are many words you don't know so you have to stop more often.

There are  graded books including novels based on the your level and with CD cause the best way to speed your learning  is to read the words and listen to the pronunciation at the same time.

Try to google graded books and you will find good website.

In saudi Arabia you can finde this graded books from oxford in Jareir bookstore.

Novels are difficult. If your vocabulary is limited, better start with shorter, easier texts.

yes novels is make me or anyone boring but teach how to descibe very well and movies is good way to learn with subtitle .

i think some novels is written for english learners but costly sometime or hard to get it from internet :)
