Are the binoculars good enough to watch the moon. I do not have telescope, but I think it's much better.

Ay, yo deseo! Los ojos tienen estas abilidades para ver, pues porque no para mirando por el cielo, de veras.

I had a handmade telescope. It's chip but I can see the moon clearly.

Not that often. I'm a very casual "backyard astronomer." I'm lazy. I just mentioned Jupiter because it's visible now, and because it is a good object for a small telescope.

One that you can NOT see now--not easily--is the Pleiades. I guess you should mention what latitude you're at. Where I live theoretically you could still see them just after sunset. By fall they will be easy to see and they are spectacular through a small telescope. With the naked eye you can just see that they are six separate stars. In fact some people mistakenly believe that it is the Little Dipper because they are in a dipper shape--but a tiny dipper shape. Take a look at them through a telescope. You'll be pleased. It's a beautiful little spray of stars, an "open cluster."
