I think in my case the best thing for me was watching the Kentucky Derby on Saturday. I went to a local bar with some friends to watch it. The race itself is only about 2 minutes long, but there's a lot of stuff that happens before. One of the coolest things I think is when they play the bugle to announce the beginning of the race. Here's what it sounds like:

And then they sing My Old Kentucky Home (I love this song!), the horses line up, and the race starts!
Anyway, it was the best thing that happened to me because it was so fun! I love all the traditions that go into it and I had a blast.
