We have an opera scene here in my country (Singapore). Opera shows/concerts are held regularly in theatres :) 

I dont like the way of singing actually so it is hard to like opera but like some part of it. If it move on instrument, I would become liking it. I like Sergei Rachmaninov vocalise op34
