Thank you all for your kind feedbacks!

@Karina: Coincidentally, I have already made German Bossa Nova-like music by myself in a duo called "avocado". Here is an example performing "raus" outside in the deep of winter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WY7hScUoH8A
If you are interested in the lyrics, have a look here: http://avocadomusik.de/texte_raus.html

The German Jazzsinger Celine Rudolph made a Bossa Nova-Album called "Salvador".

There is also a Pop-Duo from Berlin "2raumwohnung" with a Bossa-Pop mixed album called "Melancholisch schön" (e.g. here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OY2S_KawtS0).

@Rodrigo: Clueso writes beautiful music with wonderful lyrics! By the way, he already worked with German learners, but that was years ago, before he became famous. As already mentioned, there are many ways of how to work with music to progress your German. I recommend to start with a song you like. The lyrics shouldn`t seem to be too difficult for you, too.

Wonderful article! Very encouraging (: I wonder if anyone could share their favourite German bands/singers/songs in the comments, as Dean did (thank you, Dean!).

Great article on learning with music! I love the free bonus expression "Ohrwurm" -- which I've come across in Canadian French (ver d'oreille) , although it doesn't seem to be used in European French.

Great article Andy!

I'm currently learning with some Oktoberfest songs which will end up coming in quite handy, are really fun to sing along to and are incredibly repetive which helps the learning process!
