Food and Cooking Shows :)

A friend of mine shared with me one of his 2 min. videos preparing salads with his 2 years old son :) I would like to share it with you all:

I really like watching food and cooking shows in English and I learned many new words from them, so if you have a favourite cooking show whether it's from your country or not, please share it with us preferably with English subtitles if it was in any other language. Thank you (,")

Oh yes :) I love baking so much Leyla, the process of making a dough and smelling the pies and pizza in the oven is so much fun, and the process of eating them is enjoyable (,") I also love salads, especially the ones that I can put anything I like in them with the veggies :) I guess anything with potato, cheese and bread is my favourite too :')

Here's something fun to watch; I just found this video on travel channel and I loved it :)

It shows the southern part of Jordan (Petra and Rum valley), and most important they're showing the way to cook our national dish (Mansaf) ;P Look at the dry salty yogurt they are going to break to make this dish; it's called "Jameed"; our national pride :D

Don't worry Gillian; this way I was lucky to get 2 recipes from you and this one looks really delicious as well :) I must add that not everyone understands English with Indian accent very well, so I know you didn't realize that you posted another video the first time, but it's a good advice to anyone who wants to watch it in case they didn't understand all the words (,")

Thanks for your understanding Mumtaz and both recipes I plan to try as both sound and look delicious.

I am learning a lot from this about what people eat in different places so very useful.

Here is a Scottish salmon recipe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBgK8jdWhoQ

I love salmon and it can be made with any salmon or honey:) Any recipe can be adapted.

I plan to choose something to make from this discussion this week!

Thanks Mumtaz:) silly silly me, the link I had originally copied and pasted was in Hindi with English and I just forgot about that when I found a new link with a recipe closer to the one I make myself! My sincere apologies to anyone reading my above message, it was added in error about the English Subtitles. (Here is the other recipe I mean for Malai kofta balls that I found that is in Hindi. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHSsptxKVR8 )

@Leyla: I see now, I'm going to try it but probably without the prunes because I'm not used to the taste of salty and sweet flavors together ;) Don't worry about fasting my dear, You just gave us an excellent healthy recipe that works well for our breakfasts in Ramadan (,")

@Gillian: That was a very yummy recipe, and I'm surprised that I didn't know it or try it before! This video reminded me of all the Indian goodies, I'm a big fan :) I didn't need the subtitles because I'm familiar with the Indian accent (,") Thank you my friend.
