I tried many times to join the Skype, but failed, can not register, the computer and mobile phone are not. Many friends are using Skype,I hope I can use, but I can not. In China the most popular is QQ and Wechat, almost everyone has, I guess Skype is not there What about nationality?

Confirm if your local firewall block the application of skype. As often as not, you may try another computer to install skype or just adopt portable version of skype without installation or complicated settings.

Skype is NOT blocked in China.I used it for 3 years up till this March. You have to download it on their website.

also have Wechat.So if you want to learn using Wechat we can try but the connection is sometimes not so good.
i have a chinese student she lives Shandong Qingdao , we use skype for online english classes, but not sure how they downloaded skype.
