So let's say that you are in a situation a person stares at you for a long time, but don't talk to you. What would you do? I might stare back as long as they do, or stare right into their eyes, and if they have mean eyes on me, I might say some words to express my annoyance as they come closer to me.

@디나 Wow, New Yorkers are so cool. Maybe that's because they don't mind the difference of people, and know how to mind their own business, I guess.
It might be unnerving but I don't even notice if someone is staring at me and besides nobody stares at anyone in New York. I may look at a person for a moment but my mind is somewhere else. I don't have the time to stare at anyone. I am more preoccupied with my day's agenda.

@Dina Even they stare at you more than a few minutes in a distance? Cool. I may feel very uncomfortable if the staring takes too long.
