One of the most known dishes in the Basque Country is "marmitako", which means "from the pot".
It was a typical meal for Basque fishermen and was prepared while they were on their boats, in search of tuna.
It's a stew made primarily by tuna and potatoes, but nowadays we use more ingredients than before, such as, onion, green peppers, garlic, dried pepper, small tomato, parsley, olive oil and txakoli (white wine).

I am from Spain and here, we have a lot of typical dishes but I am going to talk about the typical dishes of my city. I live in Segovia, a small and pretty city near to Madrid, you can look it in google! And the most typical menu in Segovia could be a first course of "judiones de la granja" (they are big beans with onion, sausage, blood sausage...), a second course of "cochinillo asado" it is a roasted pig very very typical from here, delicious and the dessert "Ponche Segoviano"... A delicacy!
So everyone should try this menu!!

Have you ever heard about okroshka? I think it is totally Russian, probably doesn't exist somewhere else. I cannot say it's the most popular meal but it's definitely interesting. You can see pictures and recipies here: http://eda.ru/recepty/okroshka ;

Hi everyone!

Among the local food that you must try when come to Malaysia is Nasi Lemak. It's our traditional breakfast meal, consist of rice (cooked with coconut milk and pandan leaf), anchovies, boiled eggs, sliced cucumbers, peanuts and sambal (something like a chilli paste).

Voilà! Thanks for the question, Euge!
