Very intersting indeed, and Swedish sounds like a mix between English and German, maybe Norvegian, dunno, in any case I'm with Duolinguo at the People lesson topic in German, next comes Travels, and 50 more topics to go until the Language Tree!

For Swedish I did like you, five days, interesting to know they have four cases, as English just have one, French and other Latin languages (Spanish, Italian, Portuguese/Brasilian, Romanian) have two, German three with neutras, das, Japanese one, maybe there is a language with five or more cases?!

https://www.duolingo.com/course/sv/en/Learn-Swedish-Online to start, then when you'll have the basics, you can try on Italki, like for English :-)

I've been using Duolingo for 5 days straight and my vocabulary for reading Swedish is coming a long nicely. I feel that after a month of continuous, fun, practice, it'll be getting somewhere!

Feel free to add me and we can share different strategies we find!
