The Tim じぁん!!!
The rain keeps drumming on the window today, a constant reminder of yesterday's close call. While I was chilling at music class, real trouble hit close to home. Apparently, a hailstorm erupted – the first I can remember here! Fist-sized ice chunks rained down, wrecking countless cars in its path. News reports later confirmed casualties, followed by a tornado striking the same area. "What on earth! People died due to a weather in summer?” I thought, glued to the screen, the news reports sending chills down my spine. If we'd left music class just an hour later...well, let's just say our trusty Beetle wouldn't make it. We definitely dodged a bullet yesterday! (By the way, later on I learned my best friend’s car was ruined pretty bad. Luckily they weren’t in the car, so no one got hurt.)

Luckily they weren’t in the car, so no one got hurt.)
OMG! So glad to hear you are safe.

Hi! Sorry I can't help you correct your writing because I'm an English learner as well. I just saw this photo through the community and it's much to my astonishment. Is the weather there alright now?•﹏• It seems that the region I live in is near yours, but the weather here is not so extremely bad as yours. Pay attention to the safety!(;′⌒`)

Wow! That's an incredible photo. Thanks for sharing! Did you take the photo? In my province, I live near what has been colloquially termed 'hailstorm alley'. One of the reasons for all these hailstorms is that we live at a higher elevation, which means the freezing level is closer to the ground. The hail does not have a chance to melt before it hits the ground. Fortunately, I have never been caught in a storm like that! The sound must have been deafening? Stay safe and may sunny days make their way to you and Lucy!

Well written and above all, I wish you safety Lady Lucy! I've seen the videos and they're quite severe.
