I am a person who loves and enjoys teaching. Also, I am a passionate language learner, and a researcher in the field of cognitive neuroscience of bilingualism. Turkish is my native language, and I speak English (C2) and Italian (A2). To enhance myself in the field of language and linguistics, I held my master's degree in cognitive science.Me as a Teacher
I am a certified and professional English and Turkish language teacher. I hold my Bachelor's degree in teaching English as a second language. I have 10 years of teaching experience. I taught to kids, teens and adults. I have experience in tutoring for IELTS, TOEFL and GESE.My lessons & teaching style
I usually adopt eclectic method and communicative language teaching in my classes. Also I use technology actively and effectively. In addition to my lessons, I prepare some games and quizzes in various education platforms and lead my students to use them. I integrate fun into my student's learning process.My teaching material

Duygu's joyful, methodical and attentive teaching style encouraged me to dive in the process of learning a language from scratch and trust both myself and the learning process. Always combining varied teaching methods including vocabulary learning, making dialogues, reading and listening, our weekly lessons flow fast before I even realise that I am actually learning. Duygu is a generous teacher always open to answer my many questions without losing the focus of our lesson. I started learning Turkish because of a 3-month stay in Istanbul. I am astonished of how much I am already able to understand and say in daily interactions, considering the short learning period of 10 lessons. I am also delighted to hear the locals' feedback that my Turkish accent is very good. All this I owe to Duygu! I am thankful of her flexibility as I often needed to change lesson hours spontaneously. I definitely recommend Duygu to anybody who wishes to enter this adventure with a thorough and reliable teacher!
