Although I’m not a professional teacher, I’m a native English speaker, and I can offer you a relaxed setting in which to practice your conversational English. The main thing is that you speak, and I’ll encourage you to not be afraid to make mistakes. I’ll try to make corrections in a way that least interferes with the conversation.
If you’re an intermediate self-learner of German, my experience could be uniquely useful to you. I essentially taught myself the language to a high level, so I’m well acquainted with the difficulties self-learners face.My lessons & teaching style
My English classes are conversational. I’ll want you to relax and speak without fear of making mistakes. We learn from our mistakes, after all, and I’ll try to make corrections in a way that least disturbs the flow of the conversation. I‘ll let you do most of the talking, and we can talk about any subject that interests you.
For German, I’m ready to help with any aspect of the language that’s causing you problems. Or, if you’d rather, we can just talk.
I don’t teach beginners or children, and I don‘t offer a structured course in English or German.
