Are you in love with languages? So am I. Learning a new language is one of the most fascinating abilities that human beings are able to do. It changes our daily life habits, it boosts our brain's neuroplasticity, it broadens our horizons of different cultures and peoples. That's why I'm currently trying to learn 5 languages more. I always loved to learn English as a self-taught. In 2011 I started my specialization course in English Language studies, focused on teaching methodology and translation. I could learn about different teaching approaches, linguistics, phonology and translation theories. So it was a perfect fit for 1-1 lessons.Me as a Teacher
I've been teaching Portuguese 100% online for 10 years and English for more than 9 years. I'm facinated by localization concepts applied to personalized learning. Those concepts help us create a cultural background in order to increase the engagement to the language.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons vary according to each student learning profile and goals. Beginner students will be more guided through practices and materials.
You'll find all support you need to learn, talk and master your goals in your target language.

Jane is an extremely good teacher. I learned so much in just a couple of months. I love Portuguese and she is making the learning process even more pleasant, relaxed and easy. I am learning while speaking about topics and subjects I love and time goes by just like that. I totally recommend her as a teacher!!

I've just finished my first class with Jane and it was a wonderful experience. I love it when teachers are very focused on what you are saying and give you the chance to speak, and Jane did both of these. I probably spoke around 70% which was perfect for me. She explained how we could progress in the future and gave comments where necessary, but without strong error-correction, which would add unnecessary pauses in the conversation. I'll definitely take another class 😊😊

I love my lessons with Jane. She is kind and knowledgeable and makes my lessons enjoyable. I am looking forward to becoming fluent in the portuguese language under her guidance. She likes to retouch certain areas, pronunciation, etc to make sure you understand and perfect your abilities over time. She brings happiness into my life and she is truly the best!
