I DO TURKISH LESSONS IN TURKISH & ENGLISH LESSONS IN ENGLISH - except for when necessary for grammar explanations at earlier levels. This is important because immersion is what makes you feel like you have to speak.
I have been teaching and doing other language related work for about 10 years. I like to provide my students with many opportunities to practice speaking with various activities using different cues because I think using the language in speaking can be a very fulfilling experience for a learner. I find it important to use graded but natural language to provide the best type of exposure. All students from all levels are welcome, I have lots of experience teaching all levels.My lessons & teaching style
In each grammar lesson we will generally begin with isolated grammar practice to gradually widen the scope of our practice to use that particular grammar point in speaking. We will do this first through grammar drills, sentence matching and sentence completion activities. Later on in our lessons we will expand into more speaking focused activities using pictures and vocabulary as cues. I also like to provide you with a learning environment where vocabulary is recycled, so you can benefit from spaced repetition in our lessons. I aim to cover all four areas of learning (listening, speaking, reading and writing) in the lesson plans.My teaching material

Really, Zeynep is an amazing teacher. This was my fourth lesson with her and I wanted to wait until I was sure before writing a review. She has everything someone could want from a foreign language teacher: knowledge, pedagogical skills, the ability to draw out the student, great homework exercises, patience. She is also a truly lovely person. I feel really lucky I chose her for a trial lesson a few weeks ago. She will be a terrific teacher for you if you want to learn Turkish.

Zeynep is an amazing language teacher! One of the things I like most about taking lessons with her is that she has really developed her classes for students to progress at a steady rate. The classes are very planned and well organized, so I feel like I am learning a bit more each time and building upon previous classes.
Zeynep is also a wonderful person and has a really nice and easy going personality. She is easy to talk to, even when I am talking to her with my elementary Turkish!
