Hiro Miyamoto 🚄

I've been working with Hiro for several months now, going through Genki I and now Genki II. We usually meet twice a week, and he is fantastic - a great tutor, very patient and good at explaining grammar points that I don't get. Highly recommend!

37th class. We spent the last several lessons playing a mobile game together. I present my screen and read while Hiro-sensei corrects my readings and explains new words. It's a fun way for me to get used to reading game-font kanji which is very different that computer font. Thank Hiro-sensei for making the classes fun.

Great lesson

I have been a student of Hiro's for almost a year now (if not already) and I can firmly say that Hiro is a wonderful teacher. He is good for students who have a study plan already or are conversational. When I was still a bit more new to learning Japanese, our lessons were half reading/half speaking, and now he helps me with my Japanese studies and we have good conversations. The sessions are best when used with a method of study, as a form of output and input with a native speaker. If you're someone who is good with your own learning, then he is a wonderful speaking partner and teacher because he is exceptionally patient, understanding, reliable, and provides great feedback. I wholeheartedly recommend Hiro :)

I always enjoy the classes of Hiro, he has a lot of patience and let me ask about a lot of different topics. I'm learning a lot with him.
