Hi, I'm Greg from California, USA but I'm living in Japan and Thailand!
I love travel and exploring places. I am an adventure guide and my big project/business right now is a website about the best journeys in the world. I used to work for NASA missions to Mars!
I love music, particularly underground rap and underground indie/alternative. I have studied the history of rock and I can teach you some things about it! My favorite type of movie is called psychological thriller. It includes movies like Matrix, Inception and Interstellar.
I have traveled to 65 countries and I have lived in Japan, China, Russia, Taiwan, Germany and Thailand, so I have lots of great stories!Me as a Teacher
I have the TEFL certificate and more than 10 years of teaching experience. I have taught all levels and ages in Taiwan, Japan, China and the US. I'm from California so I speak the most standard American English accent.
One of my favorite things is to have fun conversation about interesting subjects. Students tell me they are happy to find that I can keep the conversation going comfortably and casually, likely because I can always find something about my students that I'm interested in.
I also use fun, interesting articles, pre-formatted in an interesting way with new vocabulary and discussion questions.
I have my own business and have specialized in business English for a decade now.My lessons & teaching style
I usually come up with interesting subjects and initiate conversation. I will stop you to correct you at a level and frequency that you are comfortable with but I have a technique so as not to break up the flow of conversation.
Besides conversation, my specialties are 'business English', the IELTS and TOEFL exams, and casual/colloquial American English which includes slang and idioms. I also specialize in phrasal verbs.
I have a number of *fantastic* books in pdf form that I can share with you and that we can use in our lessons.
I have techniques to help with improving pronunciation.

Очень лёгкий в общении преподаватель. Рассматривает разные варианты обучения. В моём случае договорились вести обучение не через книжки, а через фидбек в процессе и в конце урока, что мне подходит больше. Всегда есть о чём поговорить, не возникает ощущения неловкости.
