About Me

Since I was young, my teachers have made me aware that people understand very well when I try to explain something, because when I want to transmit a teaching, I usually go deep into the subject until I make sure that people understand me, and I manage to transmit the learning. At the end of the day, our skills are not lost, even if we leave them untapped for a long time.
On the work side, when I am presented with a situation to solve, I am passionate about finding alternative solutions and I am enormously motivated when I give resolution.
Me as a Teacher
I like to explain in great detail and I usually go deeper into the explanation, or if necessary, I resort to different ways to do people understand and I am satisfied until I am sure that my students have understood and learned.
I am very dedicated to my work, for me quality is very important and of course I apply it to my tutoring as well.
If I come across something new for me, I commit to researching and mastering the subject so that I can pass it on later. It's a commitment to me.My lessons & teaching style
First, I seek to establish an environment where you feel the confidence with me to expand on speaking what you know about Spanish without fear of being judged for how you are doing it. I am here only for being your guide. We'll take it one step at a time.
If there is something that you need me to advise you on, feel free to ask me for it. If your level is already advanced, we can talk about anything that is pleasant or interesting. Whenever any doubt or issue arises that you do not understand, you let me know to explain it to you, that I will be there to support you. If your level is basic or intermediate, we will work on a written reading until you master it completely.My teaching material

At age 78, I wanted to improve my Spanish fluency but was reluctant to move out of my comfort zone to start conversations with an iTalki community tutor. Well, Claudia became the answer to my prayers that I would connect with just the right person. Now, after 350 sessions (3 hours each week) with her, I have never even considered working with anyone else. Claudia is always "on" and perpetually enthusiastic. She is kind, expressive, and empathetic. She has a great sense of humor. Her corrections are offered discreetly and with compassion. In short, Claudia is an absolute gem!
